What Makes the Vertical Trek Different?
The Vertical Trek is a fully guided tour down a wooded mountainside. Our guides will help you get the most out of your Trek experience. In addition, our mountain location provides great views at the top, the opportunity to zip off of natural cliff formations and an atmosphere that will take you far away from the stresses of the outside world.

The Vertical Trek begins with a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. Participants descend over 600 vertical feet using a series of zip lines (up to 400 feet in length), rope bridges, tarzan swings, cargo nets and scenic walks. Some of the features have start and finish platforms that are over 40' high. Treks take between two and a half to four hours to complete.

The Vertical Trek is for ages 10+. All participants must be between 70 - 250 lbs. The Trek has many features that require some level of physical stamina. There are some features where the participant is zipping on a line from tree to tree for up to 400 feet at an height of as much as 40 feet off the ground. If you have a concern for heights please take a look at these Trek pictures prior to making your reservation.
Treks depart promptly. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Trek. Reservations are strongly recommended. Departure times are firm and payment will not be refunded if the Trek leaves without you.
Please note: The Trek is designed to be a thrilling physical activity. Many of the elements are over 40' off the ground. The ability to climb nets and ladders, and walk over rugged wooded terrain is required. We are unable provide refunds for Trekkers who start and can not finish the Trek due to fear of heights or lack of physical ability.
Treks run rain or shine except for when there is lightning or high winds.
All participants must have a signed release form. You may download the forms here and have them ready upon arrival.
What Should I Wear?
The Vertical Trek is an outdoor experience so be sure to wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. Closed toe and heal shoes are required. A water bottle that can be clipped on to a belt loop can be helpful. Please make sure that whatever you bring on the Trek can be secured because some areas are not easily accessible from the ground.
Mountain View Lodge
The Mountain View Lodge offers an air conditioned dining area with a food court, retail shop, changing rooms and rest rooms. There is also a large outdoor deck with a great view of the OGO Ball lanes and the mountain.
The Food Court offerings include sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, pizza, hot dogs, veggie burgers and more. The bar on the deck offers beer, wine and frozen drinks.
