If You Like to Sled, You'll Love Snow Tubing!

Select here for our live web cameras to see the number of lanes, number of tubers and speed.  Typically, the orange cones mark roughly how far the tubes are sliding at that time.

Snow Tubing
The main Snow Tubing runs and the Magic Carpet lift.

Snow Tubing is a great way to experience the fun of winter recreation from a whole new perspective. No experience is necessary, simply grab your tube and let the fun begin!

Roundtop Mountain Resort Snow Tubing features up to 14 large tubing lanes for ages 5 and older serviced by a covered Magic Carpet lift. The runs are 800' long and have a vertical drop of 80'.  We have been making snow for 45 years. Our experienced snowmaking team uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment so you can always count on the best snow conditions in the region.

Kiddie Tubing is a special area for ages 4 and under. Smaller child-sized tubes are a great fit for younger tubers. Parents and kids either walk back up, or parents can pull their child back up in the tube.  Parent's are asked not to ride tubes in this area as it is designed with smaller guests in mind.

The Mountain View Lodge features a variety of food and drink, cozy fireplaces and the best view on the mountain. A giant fire pit adds to the atmosphere outside.

Even though we are located just minutes from I-83, Rt 15 and the PA Turnpike, our natural wooded setting and mountain views will make it feel like you have gotten away from it all!

Who can snow tube?

Anyone ages 5 and older can use the big runs. One person per tube on the main runs. Kiddie tubing runs are available for younger riders up to 4 years old. The Kiddie Tubing area features smaller tubes built just for kids.

Is tubing hard to do?

No experience is needed, just hop in your tube and enjoy the ride.

How do I get back to the top?

We have a covered Magic Carpet to get you back to the top the easy way.

What if there isn't any snow at my house?

Not to worry! Our state-of-the-art snowmaking system keeps the snow tubing area covered with plenty of snow all winter long.

Does the speed of the lanes vary?
Yes!  The speed of the lanes can vary quite a bit depending on the weather.  If you like to go faster, the best times are cold days or after the sun goes down.  On warmer days, the runs can slow down quite a bit so please take a look at the lanes when you arrive to see if the speed is to your liking.
