Vertical Trek Reservations

Treks depart promptly. Scheduled Trek times are 10 am, 11 am, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Trek. Reservations are strongly recommended. Departure times are firm and payment will not be refunded if the Trek leaves without you.

Please note: The Trek is designed to be a thrilling physical activity. Many of the elements are over 40' off the ground.
The ability to climb nets and ladders, and walk over rugged wooded terrain is required. We are unable provide refunds for Trekkers who start and can not finish the Trek due to fear of heights or lack of physical ability.

Roundtop Mountain Adventures is an outdoor experience in a natural wooded setting with rough terrain. We suggest the following clothing guidelines to ensure a great experience.
Vertical Trek:
- Water bottle that can be clipped onto your clothing.
- Weather appropriate clothing (long shorts and a t-shirt for warm weather, loose fitting pants and a jacket for cool or wet weather).
- Comfortable shoes with a closed toe (light hikers or sneakers are great).
- Small day pack if you choose to carry the following:
- Rain gear if applicable
- Sunglasses
- Sun Screen
- Bug Repellent
- Camera

Adventure Package:
The Adventure Package elements are located in a natural setting. Some elements are in wooded areas. We suggest the following clothing guidelines to ensure a great experience.
- Swim suit or clothes that you don't mind getting wet for the H2OGO and Bumper Boats.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather for Tubing, Tree House Zips, The Woods and Sky Ride.
- Shoes with a closed toe are recommended. Avoid flip flops!
- Sun hat
- Sunglasses
- Sun Screen
- Bug Repellent
- Camera

| Safety is Our #1 Priority! |
- Our guides complete an intensive training program before working on the Vertical Trek or any high element. In addition, guides have completed a first aid and CPR course.
- Participants are clipped in at all times when at height.
- Participants are trained on use of the equipment before starting on the first zip line to ensure that all participants are familiar with safe zipping technique.

The Vertical Trek begins with a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. Treks can take between two and a half to four hours to complete. Participants descend over 600 vertical feet using a series of zip lines (up to 400 feet in length), rapelling, rope bridges, tarzan swings, cargo nets and scenic walks. Some of the features have start and finish platforms that are over 40' high.
Reservations are highly recommended. Reserve your space on-line or call (717) 432-9631 X 3723. Scheduled Trek times are 10 am, 11 am, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Trek. Other tour times will be available on days when the above tours are completely filled. The Vertical Trek is for ages 10+. All participants must be between 70 - 250 lbs. The Trek has many features that require some level of physical stamina. There are some features where the participant is zipping on a line from tree to tree for up to 400 feet at an height of as much as 40 feet off the ground. We are unable provide refunds for Trekkers who start and can not finish the Trek due to fear of heights or lack of physical ability. OGO Balls
|
OGO Balls are 11 foot diameter inflatable balls with a 6 foot inner ball. The rider climbs into the inner ball and enjoys a totally unique ride down the tubing runs. H2OGO balls have 5 gallons of fresh water in them so you and up to two friends body surf inside during the ride. IGO Balls have a harness in them so one rider goes upside down as the ball rolls.
One OGO Ball ride is included in the Adventure Package, or may be purchased a la carte. Please select here for hours and rates.
The H2 OGO is for ages 6+. Maximum rider weight is 275 lbs. Maximum combined weight for up to 3 riders is 550 lbs. |

The Tree House Zips are four 100 foot zip lines that start on a two story tower. The tower features climbing elements as well as a really cool bridge that goes through a Y shaped tree trunk. After you have zipped, the lines lower you gently to the ground where you unclip and climb back up to do it again!

Enjoy a scenic ride up over 600 vertical feet. You may ride round trip, get off at the top and explore a bit before riding down, or hike down on your own and enjoy nature. From the top of the ride you can enjoy a view of up to 6 counties!

The Woods is a multi-generational play area featuring short zip lines, bridges, a tarzan swing and a number of climbing elements, all close to the ground.

Our summer tubing operation uses the same tubes as winter tubing. The difference is that the runs are covered with a special material that slides like snow, but works in any temperature. The Magic Carpet gets you back to the top the easy way.
New for 2010 - we are installing a new, faster track material for more exciting tubing fun! When you arrive, the tubing lanes will be white!

Base Camp offers expanded food service, ice cream, rest rooms, changing rooms and a retail operation in our air conditioned tubing lodge.
The Retail Store offers logo items, sunscreen, towels, insect spray and more.
New for 2010 - we are doubling the size of the deck and adding an exciting new menu to base camp. Look for live entertainment on weekend evenings too!
